Arun Goyal Sir: Former Secretary to the Government of India<\/h3>\r\n

It was an absolute pleasure to interact with @arun59goyal<\/a>\u00a0Sir at the YLC AIMA special session on \u201cIndian Economy and the Role of Youth in the 20th Century.\u201d This event was a fantastic opportunity to engage with and learn from some of the most esteemed figures in Indian economic policy and governance. Arun Goyal Sir, currently serving as a member of the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission, has had an illustrious career, including his tenure as a former secretary to the Government of India. His extensive experience and insightful perspectives made the session particularly enriching.<\/p>\r\n

During the session, @arun59goyal<\/a> Sir shared his incredible journey, tracing his steps from his days as an exemplary student to his involvement in some of India’s most significant reforms. His academic background is nothing short of impressive, showcasing his dedication and brilliance from an early age. He spoke about his academic pursuits with passion, emphasizing the importance of education and continuous learning. It was inspiring to hear how his strong educational foundation played a crucial role in his professional achievements.<\/p>\r\n

One of the highlights of his career, as he narrated, was his contribution to the establishment of India’s Financial Intelligence Unit. The unit plays a critical role in gathering and analyzing financial information to detect and prevent money laundering and other financial crimes.
